Conflict Mediation + Transformation

A Testimonial:

“Words cannot even begin to describe the artistry and mastery that Josie brings to her mediation and repair work. It was an agonizingly beautiful ceremony that we created together. I felt supported. I felt safe. I felt seen. I felt advocated for. I felt autonomous. I felt challenged, in the best possible way. The space she holds, the insight she has and how she articulates what is happening for both people was astounding...mind-boggling…new paradigm birthing!! She stitches together what has ruptured with understanding, empathy and compassion. She sheds light on what neither party could see on their own and supports its transformation…the alchemizing of deep poison into medicine. Acknowledging the anger and then moving from blame & shame into the most poignant grief ritual... There is no one else that I would’ve rather had holding us in this process than Josie. She is a birth & death doula, a rupture & repair midwife, a threshold tender of the deepest kind and I will be forever grateful for her peace weaving in one of the most painful relational ruptures I’ve experienced. There is hope moving forward.” ~D.H.

I conduct interpersonal and professional mediation to support the coherence of community and to promote self-reflection and relational intelligences.

Mediation processes are entirely dependent on the needs + availability of the parties, as well as the complexity of the conflict at hand. Generally, I speak to each of the parties-in-conflict for at least 2 hours each before planning the initial joint session.

We generally do one to three rounds of this, working the knot of the conflict into something more supple and more revealing for all parties. Conflict transformation is a liberatory practice, at its best.

If you are experiencing a conflict that you would like to bring to mediation, schedule a 30-minute consultation call with me to sense in to possibilities and first steps.
